Generous Heart

Elder Beal,
Once Sister Jarvie heard of your iPad predicament she went straight to the computer and paid the iPad debt, for your labor on their home. Now that your debt has been paid, I expect some decent letters or a video from you. :) Please tell us all about the adventure of transferring, the good the bad and the ugly. Please tell us about your companion's name and if you guys connected quickly or if you have to work at it. Tell us about your area, the ward, your apartment, the people, and town.  Is the food different from Vigo? Talk about what really stuck out to you in your scripture study this week.
I just started 3 Nephi, I am looking for all the invitations the Savior extends to us.  One that has me trying to figure out what it really means, is found in verse 14 of chapter 11. What does it mean to thrust our hands into his side? Is it to feel his wound? Is it a hug? A handshake? Is there cultural significance to that act in his day that was common then, yet forgotten today? That is what I am studying.
Brother Idiart spoke in our ward today. He shared fond memories of being your trek pa and the YM stake leader and how cool it was to be in the temple with you as you were preparing to serve your mission. His focus was on temples and family. It was great to have him in our ward today.
We love you and hope and pray that all is well in your new area. We are going to attempt a selfie video for you.
J'taime Toujour,

This week has been awesome and I feel that my companion and I are getting along together just fine. This past seven days was Crazy. We had a Piso Inspection by one of the Matrimonial Couple (they`re Awesome). Then we woke up in our Piso one day and we blew all the breakers so we have our DueƱo fixing it right now. We went to Llano del Morro which is about an hour on a bus and then we walked for about an hour to visit some of our Investigators, after that we tried to find a ride back to a place called Taco (near La Laguna) we had a appointment there and we didn't want to miss it. We found an old bus stop and the sign said 20 minutes for the next bus, and when we were waiting for a bus to come we got drenched in rain, we saw a nice old man about 80 years old, with a beat up dirty little Geo. He stopped and asked if he could take us all the way to Taco. This old man didn't have anything in life and he was so humble to serve a couple of young looking rich kids. Little did he know that we were praying for a blessing. This man had one of the most generous hearts that I have ever seen. Sometimes I wonder why I don't give it all to the Lord and serve His children like this man did. How humble are the poor and the meek. I have ganas (willingness to change) to change for the better in the little things in my life. The work here is going good especially with our investigators. Transfers were weird. I had to take a train all the way down from Vigo to Madrid. With Elder Jones, (He was in Vigo with me), It was like 8 horas. then I had to give up one of my big Bags and leave it in Madrid, it was hard packing. after staying the night in Madrid I woke up at 4:00 in the morning and caught my flight to the islands. I had the opportunity to teach a lady the whole Resauracion in Spanish it was awesome. The food is the same here, it's super good! I have been writing little Pensamiento espirituales in mi agenda every day and I love Juan 8:12 al 59. I love ya'll and will be seeing you!
Love Moroni
