Haircut Needed-I'll go send me!

      Hey momma,
This past week was really awesome, we did a lot of awesome things and we had some pretty good lessons! Our best lesson was with Carlos, we taught him Ayuno y Diezmo he was really wanting to change so he gave fifty euros in Diezmo to our church he said that he will never change religions but he is slowly changing to Mormonism. I love all those pictures so much and I'm so very grateful to be here in Spain to serve God and bring his Hijos to the gospel of Jesus Christ! Thank you for every thing and for being with me on this earth! And I need a haircut! Love y'all! Chow Pescado as the Cubans say!! Moroni!
By the way we went to Congas today and it was really cool! I'll tell more next week!

Does anybody think I could get away with a quick trip to the beautiful Vigo, Spain to serve a lowly missionary in need of a haircut?-Kimberly :)

That is really cool that you found a Spanish copy like yours of the BOM.  This year is so wonderful that we are studying from it in Primary.  I am also studying in my BYUI-Pathway class.  It has been a real pleasure to implement new study skills into my scripture reading that take my learning to a whole new level.  I found this gem of a truth in my studies last week:
President Ezra Taft Benson explained how the scriptures can be a powerful way to bless us and answer the difficult questions of life: “Often we spend great effort in trying to increase the activity levels in our stakes. We work diligently to raise the percentages of those attending sacrament meetings. We labor to get a higher percentage of our young men on missions. We strive to improve the numbers of those marrying in the temple. All of these are commendable efforts and important to the growth of the kingdom. But when individual members and families immerse themselves in the scriptures regularly and consistently, these other areas of activity will automatically come. Testimonies will increase. Commitment will be strengthened. Families will be fortified. Personal revelation will flow” (“The Power of the Word,” Ensign, May 1986, 81).
Like the people who were with Moses and refused or neglected to look upon his staff because it seemed to simple to work, today the people neglect to make effort to study their scriptures, it appears to simple but it is a most powerful tool to help us return.

All the kids send their love and they sent me way too many pictures to include in this email, so I will choose just a sampling to share with you today.  The pictures you send of Spain are so incredibly beautiful!  I would love for you to give me a tour there someday!  Today I saw a young man snuggle up to his mom during Sacrament and it reminded me of you. Even though you are both taller than your moms you never neglect to show your love.  Thank you for always being gentle and kind.  I love you.
